Senior Data Engineer
Job Summary
Seeking a full-time Senior Data Engineer to work remotely, who will manage the reliability and performance of a Snowflake and dbt-powered data platform, building pipelines and models to ensure data usability across the organization.
Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain ELT pipelines that convert raw data into modular dbt models within Snowflake
- Design reliable data orchestration and workflows to support platform complexity
- Implement monitoring and alerting systems to identify pipeline failures and data anomalies proactively
Required qualifications
- 6+ years of data engineering experience
- Proficiency in SQL and Snowflake, with deep knowledge of dbt
- Strong software engineering discipline, including Git-based version control and CI/CD for data pipelines
- Experience in building testing, monitoring, and alerting into data pipelines
- A proven ability to independently manage complex data systems from design to production
