Senior Data Engineer
Job Summary
Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Senior Data Engineer will contribute to data ingestion, governance, and serving for machine learning initiatives, utilizing technologies such as Python, Spark, and AWS.
Key responsibilities
- Contribute to the ingestion and discoverability of data for machine learning and agentic initiatives
- Collaborate with team members to design and maintain scalable data engineering solutions
- Implement and support cloud-based infrastructure and data processing technologies
Required qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in Software Engineering or Distributed Systems (5+ years for Software Engineer III)
- Proficiency in at least two programming languages, such as Java, Scala, or Python
- 4+ years of experience in data engineering or related fields
- Working knowledge of cloud-based infrastructure (AWS or GCP)
- Experience with data engineering technologies like Apache Spark or Kafka
