Senior Data Engineer
Job Summary
Leading the design and evolution of scalable data platforms, the full-time Senior Data Engineer will work remotely to develop complex data services, establish engineering best practices, and deliver high-performing data solutions while collaborating across various teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop complex data platforms and scalable data pipelines across multiple products and systems
- Design and optimize multi-tenant data architectures, REST APIs, and ETL/ELT pipelines while ensuring data quality and compliance
- Mentor and guide engineering teams through architectural decisions, technical discussions, and implementation tradeoffs
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering or cloud-native platform development
- Advanced proficiency in Python and experience with SQLAlchemy ORM, PostgreSQL, and relational database design
- Expertise in designing scalable REST APIs, distributed systems, and cloud-native applications
- Strong experience with AWS services, Infrastructure as Code, and CI/CD pipelines
