Job Summary
To support innovative healthcare solutions, the full-time Senior Data Engineer will design and develop ETL/ELT solutions on Azure Databricks, implement large-scale data pipelines, and mentor junior engineers while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Design and develop ETL/ELT solutions using Azure Databricks and Spark to support data integration and analytics
- Build and optimize large-scale data pipelines, ensuring data reliability and integrity for machine learning and business intelligence
- Mentor other data engineers, providing technical direction and best practices for cloud data platforms
Required qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in data engineering, data integration, and ETL/ELT processes
- 5+ years of experience in Python programming
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with Apache Spark (PySpark/Spark SQL)
- Experience building cloud-based solutions using Azure Databricks and related technologies
- 2+ years of experience in SQL with a focus on complex data schemas and query optimization
