Senior Data Engineer
Job Summary
To support cloud modernization and data governance initiatives, the full-time Senior Data Engineer will design and develop complex data solutions, build scalable data pipelines, and drive technical innovation while working remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Design and develop multi-tier cloud-native data solutions and integration services
- Coordinate the design and development of complex data workflows, including batch and API-based integrations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to document technology roadmaps and improve engineering best practices
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline, or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 5 years of functional experience in data engineering
- Minimum 4 years of experience with coding languages such as Python, Scala, Java, and SQL
- Demonstrated experience with cloud technologies (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP) and modern data platforms (e.g., Azure Databricks, Snowflake)
- Experience with ETL/ELT processes and cloud data integration tools like Azure Data Factory and Azure SQL
