Senior Data Engineer
Job Summary
Leading the reporting and application-integration architecture, the full-time Senior Data Engineer will design, build, and maintain Power BI paginated reports and SQL queries while working remotely to streamline data processes and enhance reporting solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain paginated reports and reporting solutions across Power BI Report Server and legacy Crystal Reports
- Write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries and stored procedures for reporting and application workloads
- Automate report generation and improve report performance through monitoring and quality checks
Required qualifications
- Strong SQL and relational database expertise with experience in writing and troubleshooting complex queries
- Experience building Power BI Paginated Reports and working with Power BI Report Server and Power BI Service
- Hands-on experience embedding reports into client-facing applications, including authentication and API integration
- Experience supporting enterprise reporting solutions in production environments
- Proactive in tracking changes in the Power BI ecosystem and improvements in report rendering APIs
