Senior Data Engineer
Job Summary
To support a growing team, the remote contract Senior Data Engineer will focus on developing data platforms, optimizing data pipelines, and leveraging cloud technologies while utilizing strong skills in Python and SQL.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement data engineering solutions, ensuring efficient data processing and analytics
- Build and optimize data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes for large-scale data handling
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data solutions across various platforms
Required qualifications
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Analytics, or related fields
- Strong proficiency in Python and SQL
- Hands-on experience with Apache Spark and large-scale data processing
- Experience with any cloud platform; familiarity with Microsoft Fabric is a strong advantage
- U.S. Citizenship or Green Card holder status is required
