Senior Data Engineer
Job Summary
To support data-driven decision-making, the full-time Senior Data Engineer will develop and maintain data models in Snowflake, design ELT/ETL pipelines, and optimize performance while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain data models in Snowflake using dimensional modeling techniques
- Design and maintain ELT/ETL pipelines to ingest and transform data from various sources
- Support performance optimization activities, including query tuning and efficient data storage practices
Required qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in data engineering or analytics engineering with hands-on Snowflake and dbt experience
- Strong SQL skills, including experience with joins, CTEs, and data transformation techniques
- Proficiency in Python for data processing and automation
- Experience building and supporting ETL/ELT pipelines in cloud environments
- Familiarity with BI and reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau
