Senior Data Engineer
Job Summary
To enable data-driven decision-making, the full-time Senior Data Engineer will design, build, maintain, and troubleshoot data processing systems while working remotely, focusing on security, reliability, and efficiency.
Key responsibilities
- Design and maintain data structures and processing systems, ensuring data integrity and security
- Utilize AI tools to enhance ETL development and data analysis, while creating and managing data models
- Mentor junior team members and support production issues as part of an on-call rotation
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in data/software development, particularly with data warehousing and ETL tools
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Strong knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL and relational databases such as Oracle and MySQL
- Experience with Python for data manipulation and analysis, including Pandas and PySpark
- Solid understanding of data modeling techniques and dimensional data modeling
