Senior Data Engineer
Job Summary
Hands-on and detail-driven, the full-time Senior Data Engineer will write production Python and SQL, build Airflow DAGs, and contribute to the Data Vault 2.0 warehouse while developing data infrastructure that supports small business insurance operations remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain complex data pipelines to ensure reliable data models and accurate reporting
- Administer and optimize Snowflake for performance, access controls, and cost efficiency
- Lead technical projects from scoping to execution, collaborating with stakeholders to deliver technical solutions
Required qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a software or data engineer focused on data systems
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and experience with large structured and semi-structured datasets
- Proficiency in Python for building production-grade data pipelines
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake administration and modern data warehouse design
- Experience using testing frameworks for data validation in production environments
