Senior Data Engineer
Job Summary
To ensure operational functions are executed efficiently, the full-time Senior Data Engineer will manage ETL processes, oversee data quality and security, and serve as a senior resource for data management functions in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Create and execute complex SQL queries for data management and validation
- Monitor data processes, analyze trends, and identify anomalies or issues
- Train and mentor new team members while participating in client meetings and troubleshooting data-related issues
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years of experience with RDBMS (Oracle, MS SQL, Vertica) and proficiency in SQL and ETL tools
- 5+ years of data analysis experience, preferably in the healthcare industry
- Familiarity with programming languages and tools such as SQL Server Management Studio and Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with project management tools like JIRA and Bit Bucket
