Senior Data Engineer
Job Summary
To support a healthcare technology organization, the remote Senior Data/Platform Engineer will rebuild and modernize the company's data pipeline, design integrations for various data sources, and manage AWS infrastructure while ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
Key responsibilities
- Rebuild and modernize a legacy data pipeline, creating scalable and reliable ingestion, processing, and storage solutions
- Design and develop integrations for APIs, vendor file feeds, BigQuery, and other external data sources
- Establish observability, monitoring, lineage tracking, and operational standards for production data systems
Required qualifications
- 7+ years of experience building and supporting large-scale data platforms or data engineering environments
- Proven experience re-architecting or modernizing data pipelines and infrastructure
- Strong experience with Python, Node.js, Go, TypeScript, or similar backend development technologies
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization technologies
- Advanced SQL and data warehousing expertise with Redshift, Snowflake, or similar platforms
