Senior Data Engineer
Job Summary
To support the development of a modern cloud-based data platform, the full-time Senior Data Engineer will design and build scalable data infrastructure, create reliable data pipelines, and establish engineering best practices while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Design, build, and evolve the cloud data platform on Google Cloud Platform, implementing modern engineering principles
- Develop and maintain reliable batch and streaming data pipelines, integrating data from internal services and third-party APIs
- Ensure data quality and reliability across the platform while driving Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and CI/CD practices
Required qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in Data Engineering, with at least 3 years in senior-level roles
- Strong software engineering background with excellent Python skills
- Proven experience in designing and building cloud-based data platforms and data warehouses
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform services, including BigQuery and Dataflow
- Experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines
