Senior Data Engineer
Job Summary
To design and operate scalable data platforms, the full-time Senior Data Engineer will build reliable cloud-native data pipelines while collaborating with engineering and product teams in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Develop enterprise-scale data ingestion and transformation pipelines for analytics and operational workloads
- Implement real-time event-driven data processing solutions to support internal and customer-facing applications
- Automate monitoring, testing, and deployment pipelines for data infrastructure to ensure high reliability and scalability
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related field
- 5+ years of experience building production data platforms and pipelines
- Strong Python and SQL development experience, including query optimization
- Experience designing and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines with relational and NoSQL databases
- Familiarity with AWS cloud services and data orchestration tools such as Airflow or Prefect
