Senior Data Engineer
Job Summary
Seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design and build the next generation of our Data Platform in a fully remote capacity, focusing on scalable data infrastructure, low-latency streaming pipelines, and BI landscape development for enhanced data accessibility.
Key responsibilities:
- Design, build, and evolve core data platform infrastructure, including distributed query engines and orchestration
- Manage lakehouse infrastructure as code using Terraform and Ansible on Kubernetes
- Develop and maintain low-latency streaming and batch ingestion pipelines, ensuring platform reliability and performance
Required qualifications:
- 100M events/day
- Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes and cloud-native tooling like Docker and Helm
- Production experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and Ansible
- Deep knowledge of distributed systems and experience with open-source query engines like Trino or Presto
- Strong working knowledge of Python and SQL for building data pipelines and platform tooling
