Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

Leading cross-functional initiatives, the full-time Senior Data Engineer will design, build, and maintain high-quality data products in Databricks to support analytics and decision-making across the enterprise.

Key responsibilities:

• Define and maintain certified business definitions, KPIs, and metrics across assigned data domains
• Design and optimize enterprise-ready curated tables and data models in Databricks for performance and scalability
• Establish data reliability standards and manage incident response for data failures and performance issues

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or analytics engineering, with 3+ years in Databricks or similar Spark environments
• Strong expertise in Databricks, Delta Lake, and Unity Catalog governance standards
• Advanced programming skills in Python, PySpark, and SQL, with experience in production-grade data pipelines
• Proven experience with data quality, observability, and performance tuning in large-scale production environments
