Senior Data Engineer
Job Summary
Leading the design and optimization of enterprise data pipelines, the full-time Senior Data Engineer will work remotely to develop scalable ETL architectures and ensure data platform security and performance while mentoring junior engineers.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize enterprise data ingestion pipelines and transformation logic within Microsoft Fabric
- Implement and maintain scalable medallion architecture layers and establish data quality monitoring and validation controls
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot complex data engineering challenges and optimize data workloads
Required qualifications
- Significant experience designing and implementing enterprise data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric and administering cloud data environments
- Strong SQL proficiency and experience with Spark and PySpark for large-scale data processing
- Experience developing CI/CD pipelines and implementing infrastructure-as-code
- Active Secret clearance
