Senior Data Engineer
Job Summary
To support the Data Foundations team, the full-time Senior Data Engineer will design, build, and optimize large-scale data pipelines and foundational data products, transforming complex healthcare datasets into reliable data assets in a hybrid work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, operate, and optimize large-scale production data pipelines using Python, SQL, and cloud infrastructure
- Transform healthcare claims and EHR datasets into trusted, performant data products for the Healthcare Map
- Partner with cross-functional teams to translate healthcare data needs into scalable technical solutions
Required Qualifications
- Experience with healthcare data across claims, clinical, or life sciences datasets
- Strong hands-on experience in building and debugging production-grade data pipelines at scale
- Advanced skills in Python and SQL, with experience in workflow orchestration tools like Airflow
- Proven experience designing and operating data solutions in AWS
- Strong instincts for data quality and production troubleshooting
