Senior Data Engineer (CT Licensed)

Job Summary

Supporting enterprise database platforms in a remote capacity, the full-time Senior Data Engineer (CT Licensed) will administer and optimize PostgreSQL, Oracle, and MySQL databases across on-premises and multi-cloud environments, ensuring reliability, performance, and security.

Key responsibilities:

• Administer, maintain, and optimize PostgreSQL, Oracle, and MySQL databases across on-premises and multi-cloud environments
• Manage database installations, upgrades, migrations, and security compliance while ensuring availability and performance
• Collaborate with engineering and infrastructure teams to drive cloud modernization and continuous improvement initiatives

Required qualifications:

• 5+ years of database administration (DBA) experience within complex enterprise environments
• 5+ years of hands-on experience administering PostgreSQL, Oracle, and MySQL database platforms
• 3+ years of experience supporting cloud-based database platforms across Azure, AWS, and GCP
• 3+ years of experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Ansible
• Willingness to participate in a 24x7 on-call support rotation
