Senior Data Engineer, Gaming License

Job Summary

Leveraging technical expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC), the full-time Senior Data Engineer, Platform will enhance and build out the data platform, inform business decisions, and define standards and best practices while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Demonstrate leadership and ownership of the platform to deliver services for projects and users
• Provide infrastructure guidance of data platform capabilities to accommodate business and technical use cases
• Automate and manage provisioning needs, including Snowflake storage and compute, and configure monitoring around performance

Required qualifications

• Proven track record of administration and engineering with Snowflake, Databricks, or similar Cloud Data Platforms
• Experience with AWS, Terraform, CloudFormation, Python, and database replication tools/services
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
• Strong experience with SQL and knowledge of various data engines such as SQL Server and Redshift
• Experience writing software, preferably in Python
