Senior Data Engineer (MA Licensed)

Job Summary

Collaborating with business partners, the full-time Senior Data Engineer (MA Licensed) will design and create data sets, build data transformations, and mentor junior team members to enhance analytics capabilities in a remote or hybrid environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and create data sets to support stakeholders across the organization
• Build, orchestrate, and test data transformations of application data into analytics models
• Mentor junior team members to ensure best data practices are implemented company-wide

Required qualifications

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience with SQL, ELT pipelines, data transformation, and modeling
• Experience working in an agile environment with a mix of in-person and remote teams
• Knowledge of mobile sportsbook product functionality and features, with prior experience in the sports betting industry preferred
• Familiarity with tools such as Snowflake, Airflow, Python, and AWS services
• Ability to apply software engineering best practices to analytics code using version control tools
