Senior Data Engineer with Secret Clearance

Job Summary

Providing technical leadership and oversight, the full-time Senior Data Engineer with Secret Clearance will conceptualize data architecture strategies, manage data pipeline integrations, and lead the modernization of legacy data structures in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conceptualize and articulate alternative technical approaches to data architecture, validating designs against federal requirements
• Oversee the development of new data source integrations utilizing Python, Scala, or Java
• Lead the transformation of legacy data structures into cloud-native data solutions optimized for AWS GovCloud

Required Qualifications:

• Active U.S. Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship
• Bachelor's degree in a related field with 10-12 years of experience, or a Master's degree with 8-10 years, or a PhD with 5-7 years of experience
• Extensive hands-on proficiency in implementing cloud-native data solutions within AWS/AWS GovCloud
• Deep knowledge of SQL database technologies for schema design and complex querying
• Expert proficiency with Git, data pipeline orchestration tools, and CI/CD pipelines in an automated environment
