Senior Data Engineering Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr. Data Engineering Manager to lead and scale their Data and ML Infrastructure teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and scale a team responsible for large-scale data and ML infrastructure
• Define and drive technical strategy across multiple squads to ensure system reliability and scalability
• Coach and develop senior individual contributors while promoting engineering excellence and best practices

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field
• 10+ years of experience in backend or data engineering, with expertise in data pipelines and analytics infrastructure
• 3+ years of engineering leadership experience managing managers or senior technical leads
• Strong command of SQL and Python, with experience using Databricks, Spark, and Kafka
• Proven track record of leading technical strategy and delivering large-scale systems
