Senior Data Engineering Manager

Job Summary

Leading a team of data engineers, the full-time Senior Data Engineering Manager will enhance the company's Snowflake-based architecture and dbt modeling layer, while collaborating with analytics and operations stakeholders to ensure reliable and well-modeled data assets in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the internal authority on Snowflake architecture, performance tuning, and security
• Own the dbt project, including modeling conventions, testing strategy, and documentation standards
• Manage and mentor a team of data engineers, overseeing hiring, onboarding, and career development

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience with Snowflake architecture and performance optimization
• Strong background in dbt and data transformation processes
• Experience designing data pipelines using Azure Data Factory
• Demonstrated leadership skills in managing and developing engineering teams
• Knowledge of ETL/ELT best practices and data governance standards
