Senior Data Engineering Manager

Job Summary

Leading a dedicated team in a remote capacity, the full-time Senior Data Engineering Manager will oversee financial data modeling, manage data product delivery, and provide technical leadership while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the design and buildout of ETL/ELT data pipelines for processing large datasets from multiple sources
• Implement performance optimization best practices for data queries and cost reduction
• Establish and enforce data quality standards and governance frameworks for data storage and access

Required qualifications

• 7 years of applicable experience in data engineering
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling
• Proficiency in SQL with experience in developing complex queries
• Experience deploying data pipelines in a cloud environment (GCP, AWS, Azure)
• Bachelor's degree preferred or specialized training/relevant professional qualification
