Senior Data Engineering Manager

Job Summary

Seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineering Manager, this full-time remote position will design, build, and optimize modern data platforms to support enterprise analytics, reporting, and AI initiatives while collaborating with various stakeholders to deliver secure and reliable data products.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain scalable data platforms and pipelines, optimizing cloud-based data architectures
• Collaborate with data scientists and business leaders to gather requirements and implement data quality controls
• Mentor engineers and conduct code reviews while evaluating emerging technologies and improving platform performance

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
• 10+ years of experience in data engineering or related technical roles
• Proven track record in designing and delivering enterprise-scale data platforms
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python, with experience in building scalable ETL/ELT pipelines
• Hands-on experience with AWS services and cloud-native data architectures
