Job Summary
Leading a high-impact team, the full-time Senior Data Engineering Manager will oversee the development of a holistic real estate data engine, guiding engineers in building foundational data capabilities while working in a hybrid or remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Coach and develop engineers, fostering a high-performance and inclusive culture
- Define and evolve the data platform architecture, balancing foundational investments with product delivery needs
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality, reliable data systems while collaborating cross-functionally with Product, Analytics, and Engineering teams
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in an engineering management role specifically leading data engineering or data platform teams
- Proven ability to scale teams and systems through hiring, process, architecture, and delivery
- Hands-on familiarity with Snowflake, DBT, or Sigma
- Experience building modern data platforms, including ELT, modeling layers, governance, and self-serve analytics
- Player-coach mindset with prior experience as an individual contributor
