Senior Data Engineering Manager

Job Summary

Leading a team of data engineers and data scientists, the fully remote Senior Data Engineering Manager will manage the development of scalable data pipelines, ensure high-quality data delivery, and align data strategies with business goals.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage, mentor, and grow a multi-disciplinary team, fostering collaboration and technical excellence
• Oversee the design and maintenance of data pipelines and architecture to ensure timely data availability
• Act as the primary liaison between the data team and other departments, gathering requirements and prioritizing requests

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in data engineering, data science, or data architecture roles, with at least 2+ years in a leadership capacity
• Proven experience with modern data integration tools and cloud data platforms, including AWS and Snowflake
• 3+ years of experience with data visualization and BI tools such as Looker
• Familiarity with data governance principles and compliance standards, preferably in healthcare
