Senior Data Engineering Manager
Job Summary
Leading the development and optimization of data and BI platforms, the full-time Senior Data Engineering Manager will manage end-to-end data architecture and pipeline solutions, partner with stakeholders for requirements gathering, and drive project plans to ensure data availability and accuracy in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Own and drive the delivery of data architecture and pipeline solutions, ensuring they meet business needs
- Design and implement a data quality framework with proactive monitoring and troubleshooting for critical data pipelines
- Lead planning and management of the BI platform, ensuring optimal operations, performance, and security
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in data engineering or a related technical field
- Proficiency in SQL, Spark, PySpark, and experience with cloud-based data platforms like Snowflake or Databricks
- Experience managing and mentoring data engineers
- Demonstrated expertise in managing Tableau infrastructure and operations
- Bachelor's degree in data engineering, computer science, or a related field preferred; Master's degree preferred
