Senior Data Governance Analyst

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Senior Data Governance Analyst will develop and implement data governance policies and procedures to ensure the accuracy, security, and integrity of organizational data while collaborating with various stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Developing and implementing data governance policies, standards, and procedures
• Coordinating with IT leaders and data owners to establish governance frameworks and ensure adherence to data policies
• Conducting data quality assessments and leading initiatives to improve data quality across the organization

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
• Five years of experience in data management with a focus on data warehousing and integration
• Two years of experience with data governance platforms such as Collibra or Alation
• Three to five years of experience within an academic medical center or large medical institution
• Certifications in data governance, data management, or data analysis are preferred
