Senior Data Governance Analyst
Job Summary
Working remotely on a full-time temporary basis, the Senior Data Governance Analyst will manage the maintenance of the Public Health data catalog, document and validate metadata, and facilitate governance workgroups while collaborating with business and technical stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Gather, document, validate, and maintain business and technical metadata in partnership with Business and Data Stewards
- Support the maintenance of governance documentation, including the Public Health data catalog and business glossary
- Facilitate discussions and workgroups to establish common understanding of data definitions, ownership, and business rules
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, Data Management, Business, Analytics, or a related field
- Hands-on experience with Collibra and knowledge of data governance practices (2+ years)
- Experience developing and maintaining process documentation and standards (2+ years)
- Proficiency in building relationships with Business and Data Stewards and technical stakeholders (2+ years)
- Exposure to data and analytics platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, or Power BI (2+ years)
