Senior Data Governance Expert
Job Summary
To support enterprise data initiatives, the remote contract Senior Data Governance Expert will lead data discovery and classification efforts, evaluate data security governance tools, and facilitate Collibra integration over a 3-4 month period.
Key responsibilities
- Lead data discovery, inventory, classification, and governance initiatives
- Evaluate data security and governance tools, including Collibra and others
- Conduct stakeholder workshops and lead Proof-of-Concept (POC) evaluations
Required qualifications
- Senior-level experience in Data Discovery and Classification
- Strong background in Data Governance and Data Protection
- Experience with Data Lifecycle Management
- Hands-on knowledge of Collibra and metadata management/integration
- Experience leading Data Discovery initiatives and conducting stakeholder workshops
