Senior Data Governance Lead
Job Summary
To support a global commodities trading and supply chain company, the part-time Senior Data Governance Lead will design and implement a comprehensive data governance framework for a Microsoft Fabric platform, focusing on data cataloging, lineage, and quality across multiple legacy systems.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement the enterprise data governance framework across OneLake and Fabric workspace layers
- Establish end-to-end data lineage tracking from source systems through transformation layers to final reporting data products
- Develop and lead master data management strategy for key shared entities across trading, finance, and logistics domains
Required qualifications
- 7+ years in data governance, data management, or data architecture with production governance framework implementations
- Experience with Microsoft Azure or Fabric governance capabilities, with a strong advantage for Microsoft Purview
- Strong background in data lineage, metadata management, and data quality frameworks at enterprise scale
- Familiarity with financial or commodity trading data domains and governance complexity in multi-source environments
- Bachelor's degree in a technical, data, or business field (or equivalent experience)
