Senior Data Governance Manager
Job Summary
To support the scaling of Data and Analytics capabilities, the full-time Senior Data Governance Manager will manage the rollout of a new Data Governance operating model, oversee data lifecycle management, and foster a data-centric culture while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key responsibilities
- Support the adoption of a Data Governance operating model by engaging and educating the Data Stewardship community
- Manage the data lifecycle to ensure integrity, security, and compliance while resolving data-related issues with data owners
- Lead data governance initiatives and develop training programs to enhance data literacy across the organization
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in data management and governance, preferably in a SaaS environment
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
- Proven experience designing and implementing data governance frameworks in large organizations
- Strong knowledge of data governance practices and associated tools and technologies
- Deep understanding of data privacy regulations, including GDPR and CCPA
