Senior Data Governance Steward

Job Summary

Driving Corporate Finance's data strategy, the full-time Senior Data Governance Steward will manage governance, stewardship, and metadata practices, ensuring data accuracy and compliance while supporting strategic initiatives and M&A activities in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the Data Governance Office and business subject matter experts to ensure data is accurate, trusted, and accessible
• Lead data governance initiatives, including managing data engagement processes and driving governance adoption
• Support M&A activities and AI-enabled solutions through effective data stewardship and management practices

Required qualifications

• A minimum of six years of analytical work experience, or a Bachelor's degree with five years of experience, or a Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field with three years of experience
• Experience in data governance and stewardship, including leading maturity assessments and action planning
• Knowledge of data migration and management practices, particularly with Snowflake
• Experience in building and leading stewardship capabilities, including onboarding and mentoring stewards
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to develop training and facilitate communication between business and IT
