Senior Data Infrastructure Engineer

Job Summary

Owning and enhancing data pipeline architectures, the full-time Senior Data Infrastructure Engineer will manage critical data ingestion services and orchestration systems while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable and scalable data infrastructure in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own and maintain data pipeline architectures, ensuring reliability and adherence to SLAs
• Manage and evolve data modeling environments, providing well-documented workflows for analysts and engineers
• Implement observability for data systems to monitor quality and detect issues early

Required qualifications

• Proven experience in a data engineering or infrastructure role with production-grade pipelines
• Skilled in programming languages such as Python, with bonus experience in Go
• Deep experience with ETL/ELT pipelines and integrating disparate data sources into warehouses/lakes
• Familiarity with cloud data platforms, particularly AWS
• Experience with workflow orchestration tools like Airflow or Dagster
