Job Summary
The full-time Senior Data Infrastructure Engineer will design, build, and maintain critical data pipelines and infrastructure for a remote cybersecurity company, focusing on data ingestion, warehouse strategy, and observability across multiple regions.
Key responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain business-critical data pipelines and AWS Glue/Spark jobs for the data warehouse and Tableau
- Operate core data infrastructure, including the data warehouse, orchestration, and BI/reporting platform across multiple regions
- Define and evolve event-driven contracts and warehouse schemas, collaborating with producer and consumer teams
Required qualifications
- 7+ years of professional experience in data engineering, infrastructure engineering, or backend software engineering
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Strong software engineering skills with a focus on maintainable code and data architecture
- Experience with AWS data stack, cloud data warehouse/lakehouse platforms, and BI tools such as Tableau
- Fluent in SQL and proficient in Python, with experience in workflow orchestration tools like Apache Airflow
