Senior Data Integration Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely on a contract-to-hire basis, the Senior Data Integration Engineer will architect and develop scalable data pipelines, integrating API-sourced data into an AWS-based enterprise data lake while ensuring the creation of analytics-ready datasets.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data ingestion pipelines for API and ETL workloads
• Build and consume integrations with APIs, focusing on delivering reliable, high-quality data
• Collaborate with Data Engineering, Architecture, and Analytics stakeholders to align on data integration strategies

Required qualifications

• Demonstrated expertise in API integration and development
• Strong hands-on experience in architecting and building ETL/ELT data pipelines
• Proficiency with AWS data ecosystem, especially with data lake architectures
• Advanced Python and SQL programming abilities
• Solid understanding of data modeling concepts tailored for analytics and reporting
