Senior Data Manager

Job Summary

Overseeing and managing critical data assets, the full-time Senior Data Manager will ensure data quality, integrity, and accessibility while developing governance strategies and optimizing data utilization for business insights in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement data management policies and standards aligned with the overall data strategy
• Lead data quality assurance efforts, defining metrics and monitoring accuracy
• Manage the entire data lifecycle, ensuring compliance with regulations and internal policies

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or related field; Master's degree preferred
• 8+ years of progressive experience in data management, governance, or architecture roles
• Proven experience with various database technologies (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL)
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes
• Expertise in data governance frameworks and stewardship best practices
