Senior Data Migration Lead
Job Summary
Leading the technical data workstream for a critical R&D and Engineering application separation and migration program, the full-time Senior Data Migration Lead will manage data discovery, profiling, and migration processes while working remotely during EST hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead data discovery and requirements assessment alongside application owners and stakeholders
- Design the end-to-end data migration pipeline, including extraction, cleansing, transformation, and loading
- Develop and execute high-performance SQL scripts and ETL workflows for data migration and purging
Required Qualifications
- 10-15 years of focused experience in data migration, data engineering, or ETL design
- Direct experience leading data workstreams for major carve-outs, divestitures, or platform modernizations
- Advanced hands-on expertise in SQL and relational database platforms such as Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle
- Demonstrated track record writing and executing complex data migration and purging routines
- Proven capability in establishing data reconciliation frameworks and audit controls
