Senior Data Modeler

Job Summary

To support the development of a Knowledge Management Data Platform, the full-time Senior Data Modeler will design and govern data architecture for unstructured knowledge assets, translating raw content into structured data products while working remotely in Canada.

Key Responsibilities

• Design logical and physical data models for unstructured and semi-structured content originating from Knowledge Management pipelines
• Define domain boundaries and ownership for data products, distinguishing reusable assets from raw data
• Establish metadata standards and tagging taxonomies to ensure consistent classification across knowledge sources

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data modeling, data architecture, or information architecture, with exposure to unstructured or semi-structured data
• Direct experience in Knowledge Management or content management domains
• Hands-on experience with Databricks Unity Catalog or a modern data catalog
• Practical knowledge of metadata management, including tagging schemas and taxonomies
• Understanding of data security and sensitivity classification frameworks
