Senior Data Platform Architect

Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time Senior Data Platform Architect will design and implement scalable data solutions using AWS and Snowflake, ensuring the efficient realization of enterprise data vision while leading technical initiatives and collaborating across teams.

Key responsibilities:

• Architect and implement scalable data solutions, including pipelines and data models, to support both human consumers and AI agents
• Define and enforce standards for data ingestion, transformation, and modeling to ensure efficient data movement and quality
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact solutions and mentor engineers on best practices in architecture and design

Required qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience in data engineering or data platform architecture
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with AWS and Snowflake in designing unified data platforms
• Deep expertise in data ingestion, transformation, and pipeline development using tools like dbt and Apache Airflow
• Experience with performance tuning, query optimization, and CI/CD practices for data pipelines
• Strong understanding of data security, governance, and compliance principles related to platform architecture
