Senior Data Platform Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Distinguished Engineer specializing in Enterprise data storage and consumption platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop highly resilient operational platforms that can scale to thousands of users with high availability
• Act as a trusted advisor for specific technology domains, shaping use cases and implementations
• Promote engineering excellence, drive adoption of modern technologies, and mentor talent within the organization

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree
• Minimum 9 years of experience in software engineering or software development
• At least 3 years of experience with Databricks, 5 years with AWS cloud platform, and 3 years with Big Data technologies
• Experience in DevOps, test automation, cloud native platforms, open source frameworks, and metadata management solutions
• Familiarity with modern data platform strategies such as Data Mesh and Data Fabric
