Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Data Platform Engineer to join their Data Platform team in Kansas City, MO.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable and secure architecture for data storage and processing in a private cloud
• Manage private cloud infrastructure and automate data workflows using CI/CD pipelines
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize performance and ensure data governance

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field
• 5-8+ years of experience in data engineering with a focus on cloud-based data platforms
• Strong programming skills in Python or Java
• Deep knowledge of Apache Iceberg, Spark, Airflow, Superset, and Kafka
• Familiarity with cloud-native infrastructure tools such as Kubernetes, Ansible, and Salt
