Senior Data Platform Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Data Platform Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Expand and maintain the data platform in collaboration with Data Platform Engineers and Data Scientists
• Improve product telemetry in partnership with core engineering
• Migrate data build tools and build an internal data catalog to enhance efficiency and support self-service analytics

Required Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of data engineering and workflows
• Expertise in data orchestration and pipeline tools (e.g., dbt, dagster, airflow)
• Experience with large-scale data warehouses/platforms
• Understanding of web apps and best practices for logging and event instrumentation
• Theoretical or practical knowledge of machine learning workflows and terminology
