Senior Data Platform Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Data & AI Platform Engineer to build internal tools and services on a large-scale data infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build data-driven tools for large datasets in S3 and Snowflake
• Develop enrichment workflows and reusable internal services around embedding generation and data augmentation
• Optimize performance and cost across AWS infrastructure while ensuring reliability of AI-powered pipelines

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience
• Strong backend engineering skills, preferably in Python
• Solid experience with AWS, data warehousing (Snowflake preferred), and API design
• Hands-on experience with LLM APIs and vector databases
• Production experience in a startup environment with a focus on independent, end-to-end system delivery
