Senior Data Platform Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Data Platform Engineer II (Databricks).

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement scalable and performant data solutions
• Collaborate with Engineering Managers and stakeholders to execute technical roadmaps using Agile processes
• Mentor junior engineers and conduct thorough pull request reviews

Required Qualifications

• BS/BTech (or higher) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 6+ years of experience building and optimizing scalable distributed data systems
• 3+ years of experience with SQL and data modeling on large multi-table data sets
• 3+ years of experience as a technical decision-maker in a team setting
• 3+ years of experience coaching other engineers
