Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Platform Engineer, Data.

Key Responsibilities

• Define, implement, and evolve data models and schemas in Postgres for product and analytical use cases
• Lead the design and migration to improved data models for core business concepts and ensure data quality and usability
• Mentor other engineers and improve data usability and developer productivity through shared tooling and documentation

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in Backend or Data Platform Engineering
• 3+ years of experience writing production-level SQL and backend code
• Recent expertise with Python as a primary programming language
• Experience with data modeling concepts and best practices
• Hands-on experience with observability and monitoring tools such as Datadog and Cloudwatch
