Senior Data Platform Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Data Platform Engineer to build and own a foundational data layer for their platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Decompose a monolithic MySQL system into domain-oriented data stores and establish data contracts
• Design and implement data pipelines and manage canonical entities and schemas
• Structure data for AI and ML workflows, enabling cross-system visibility and integration

Required Qualifications:

• 5-10+ years of experience in software or data engineering, focusing on production data systems
• Strong experience in designing and building data systems and distributed architectures
• Deep understanding of data modeling, data pipelines, and system boundaries
• Experience in event-driven or behavioral data systems and identity resolution
• CS degree or equivalent experience
