Job Summary

To support platform modernization efforts, the full-time Senior Data Platform Engineer will build scalable services and APIs while working remotely in LATAM, focusing on replacing legacy systems and enhancing integration capabilities.

Key responsibilities

Develop scalable services to replace the legacy .NET platform with Python on Databricks
Design and implement secure APIs and integrations for internal and external systems
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to influence architecture and delivery standards

Required qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
7+ years of professional software engineering experience
5+ years of experience building scalable backend services and APIs using Python
Proven experience in platform modernization or migration initiatives
Experience with cloud-native environments, preferably Azure
